Animaniacs ~ The Monthly Teen Anime Club

Friday, February 2nd /3:30 - 4:30pm/ Headquarters, Manalapan.

You can meet with other Anime/Manga Enthusiasts-Japanese Anime art and culture discussed. 

Join us monthly to watch, discuss and draw anime, and to generally just have fun. Snacks

are always servied.  

 

Girls Who Code

Mondays, February 5, 12 & 26 / 6:30-&:30pm / Headquarters, Manalapan.

We are excited to announce our latest computer program called Girls Who Code.

This organization was founded to support and increase the number of girls in computer

science.  The goal of these classes is to inspire, educate and equip girls with computing

skills.

Registration is required and will be limited to 18 Teens.

 

Intro to Virtual Reality

Tuesday, February 27th / 6:00 - 8:30pm / Headquarters, Manalapan.

 Have you used Facebook or you Tube recently and come across 360/Virtual

Reality videos? As virtual reality becomes a more prominent form of medium,

get to know how to make content. VR is the perfect way to practice multiple disciplines

between technologies as we explore a creative role while learning  the programming

necessary to produce Virtual Reality content.

Registration is required and will be limited to 12 Teens.

Tech Take Apart

Tuesday, March 6th  / 6:00- 8:30pm / Headquarters, Manalapan.

Every Wonder how something works?  Con on in and take it apart.  We will have all sort of electronic

eqiupment/devices to disassemble and discover with.

 

Makers Day

Saturday, March 10 / 12:00 noon - 4:00pm / Headquarters, Manalapan

Watch a demonstration from Rogue Robotics - an underwater robot that this student team has built for MATE robotics competition. Cheer on teams from Manalasquan H.S. - FTC First Tech Challenges as they demonstrate their design, building, testing and program autonomous and driver-operated robots to perform a series of tasks.

Come and see Ocean Township Intermediate School demonstrate their DIY personal water purification straw!

Enjoy activities numerous activities that pertain to Robotics, Technology and Making. Learn about Block Printing, Great Beads for Good Causes, and see a demonstration of twisty puzzles /Rubik's Cubes for people to try.
