Saturday, February 6 is Take Your Child to the Library Day! This international initiative encourages families around the globe to take their children to the local library. Celebrate the library's importance in the life of a child, and join in the fun of library services and programs for children and families. Save the Date for Frosty Frolics! Family Event PDF Print E-mail

 Storytime StageMark your calendar and save the date! Frosty Frolics Family Event will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Enjoy winter-themed activities and adventures at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan. Beginning at 11:00 am, experience a heartwarming Winter Wonderland celebration of snow, sneezes and itchy snowsuits with this lively show by Storytime Stage of NYC. Incorporating movement, award-winning songs and a healthy dose of imagination, this performance will delight audiences of all ages. There will be a blend of fun-filled, fast-paced participation, performance, and lots of pretending. The show runs approximately 45 minutes and will be held on the Lower Gallery stage.

Then, take a break for intermission! Stop by the Lower Gallery to make-and-take a sparkly snowflake! Limited supplies will be provided at the conclusion of our Storytime Stage event. Have a quick lunch, and then join us for another special program.Frozen Ballerinas

From 2:30 to 3:30 pm, it’s time for A Frozen Adventure in Music, Dance & Story for all ages. The Red Bank Performing Arts Ensemble will present a wintery tale of two sisters, an evil prince and a lovable snowman! Feel free to wear your favorite royal outfit for this entertaining and exclusive show featuring a talented cast of performers from across the state.

Registration is not required. Mark your calendar and save the date for a visit the library on Saturday, February 20, beginning at 11:00 am. Events will be held on the Lower Gallery level at the Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalpan, NJ 07726. Phone 732-431-7220 x 7226. We look forward to seeing you!
