The Next Stage Ensemble players return to Monmouth County Library Headquarters in Manalapan in August to tackle a classic Greek tragedy on Thursday, August 7 at 7 PM.
The Libation Bearers is the second in a trilogy written by the Greek playwright Aeschylus, concerning the return of the Greek King Agamemnon from the Trojan War, his murder, and the revenge exacted by his children, Orestes and Electra.
This free performance will be held at Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan 07726. Next Stage Ensemble, a division of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's Summer Professional Training Program, was created to nurture the work of early career actors and to train them in ensemble-based performance techniques.
