Great concerts continue at the Library in September!
Tim McLoone and the Shirleys with the Atlantic Coast Band will return to Library Headquarters in Manalapan on Sunday,September 28 for a tribute concert to singer Linda Ronstadt.
Singer and educator Phil Bruschi will perform several concerts at Library branches in September.

Tribute to Neil Diamond: Singer, Songwriter

Neil Diamond continues to endure in the world of pop music as a solo artist. This program focuses on his legendary career as a singer and songwriter highlighting more than 45 years of struggles and successes. Phil Bruschi, educator and entertainer, will discuss Diamond's early career to present day while performing such songs as "Sweet Caroline," "Hello Again," "CracklinRose," and many more.
I Wrote the Songs: The Music of Berlin, Porter & Gershwin

In American musical history, only a small number of song writers are responsible for the majority of the songs considered part of "The Great American Songbook." Those who stand outas legends in 20th century music include Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and George and Ira Gershwin. Their songs are still being recorded by artists such as Harry Connick Jr., Diana Krall and Michael Buble, songs like "Always," "White Christmas," "Night and Day," "I've Got YouUnder My Skin," "I've Got a Crush on You," and "Our Love isHere to Stay" -- songs with staying power.
Performer and educator Phil Bruschi showcases the musical careers of these great songwriters while performing some of their classic songs.

Tim McLoone and The Shirleys with The Atlantic Coast Band perform the music of the legendary singer Linda Ronstadt in this free concert. The band will perform music ranging from Ronstadt's earliest hits, through her explorations with folk, country, rock and the music of the great American Songbook.
