The library has a large collection of print and online resources for business research and reference librarians to assist in the use of the resources. Here is a list of the major resources.

Business and Company Resource Center - a combination of Business Directory, Business News, Industrial Rankings, Industry Associations and Company Histories. Use the “help” and ‘advanced search” features for optimum utilization.)

ReferenceUSA - a very large database of companies searchable by name, address, town, naics or sic industry codes, size by sales or number of employees, yellow page headings, officers titles, officers names, internet url; with some business news.

Corp Tech Directory of Technology Companies - This database is useful for finding information about technology companies. You access it from the ReferenceUSA site.

Hoover’s - is a combination business directory and business news database. Hoover’s is owned by Dun & Bradstreet. You have to be at a Monmouth County Library Branch or member library to access Hoover’s.
